Charlet Pense
Charlet has been the School Based Social Worker at the Kelly A. Burlison Middle School for 15+ years. She is married to David Pense and they have two daughters, Chelsea and Cristen. Charlet has always had a heart for animal rescue and for advocating for the underdog. Several years ago her dear friend Rita suggested they start an animal rescue and it has since been stuck in her mind. She is very proud to be part of this compassionate rescue and loves to rescue animals.

Rita Lamb
Rita is a counselor at the Fredericktown High School. She has been rescuing animals for years and it was her initial idea to start an animal rescue in our community. Rita takes care of a lot of animal transports and fostering dogs until we find them new homes!
Board Vice President: Sarah Darnell-Garcia
Sarah is a loan processor at Ozarks Federal and is the mother of six year old Greyson. She has been helping with animals since she was a young child and has always had a soft spot for animals. Sarah is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in animal rescue because she wants to make a difference for animals in our community.
Board Secretary:
Amy Umfleet
Amy is the owner/operator of The Rite Cut in Fredericktown. She is married to Mike Umfleet and has two daughters, Darian and Paige. When asked why she wanted to be involved in animal rescue she said that she loves all living creatures and wants nothing more than to help the animals in our community by making sure they are safe, cared for and out of harms way. Amy thinks that educating the community on animal safety and the importance of spaying/neutering is a necessity. She hopes that being part of an animal rescue will help stop animal abuse, suffering, and over population.
Board Treasurer:
Chelsea Pense Rehkop
Chelsea is a a pharmacist at Walmart Pharmacy. She is married to Tyler Rehkop and the two have one son, a child on the way, and two rescue cats. She has been rescuing animals since she was a child and has a soft spot for dogs. Animal rescue is important to Chelsea because she thinks that all animals have rights and should be treated fairly and kindly. She hopes that by being a member of a rescue, she can help end the cruel lives that some animals face.
